This map is made up of an interesting array of camouflage patterns used by the military throughout the world.

According to Camopedia, there are about a dozen different main types of camouflage, ranging from brushstrokes, which, as the name implies, imitates paintbrush patterns, to chocolate chip, the six-color desert pattern of the United States, as well as puzzle, rain and tiger stripes.

The world map shows how the distinct differences in the landscapes around the world affect the camouflage patterns developed for that region.
