A convicted felon was arrested over the weekend after he attempted to take a selfie while holding a gun in the bathroom of a Florida strip club only to accidentally fire the weapon.
The incident unfolded early Saturday morning at Club Lust in St. Petersburg. The gunshot traveled through the bathroom wall and into the lady’s room next door, but there were no injuries reported.
After the accidental discharge, 34-year-old Ron Sorn ran from the scene, but he was soon stopped nearby by officers.
Sorn was arrested and charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, possession of Xanax, and possession of marijuana less than two grams.
