Learn To Hunt Deer In Arizona
Game and Fish biologists offer expert tips, advice.
PHOENIX, AZ – -(Ammoland.com)- Young and first-time hunters preparing for deer season won’t want to miss a free “how to hunt deer” clinic Wednesday, Sept. 22 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Arizona Game and Fish Department in Phoenix.
For individuals unable to attend in person, the seminar will be simultaneously webcast at www.azgfd.gov/webcast .
This informative clinic, taught by seasoned wildlife biologists, will inform and educate those heading to the field about the characteristics of deer, their habits and behaviors.
The clinic will also offer tips and techniques for hunting these incredible animals in different habitats and weather conditions.

- locating deer
- using binoculars
- identifying tracks and scat
- hunting techniques
- shot placement
- field care
Audience participation is encouraged, and questions from both the attending audience and those submitted by e-mail (webcast@azgfd.gov) from online viewers will be addressed.
The event will be at the Game and Fish headquarters in Phoenix at 5000 W. Carefree Highway, located approximately 1.5 miles west of I-17 in the Quail Auditorium.
