‘Last Blood’ Should be Last Straw for Gun Owners and Stallone Movies

“Action hero" Stallone has no problem with guns both on and off-screen as long as they're his.

U.S.A. – -(Ammoland.com)- “Sylvester Stallone gets back to his roots with explosive new trailer for ‘Rambo: Last Blood’,” Agence France-Presse reports on the fifth installment in the series, scheduled for a September release. “Still in top shape at 73, Stallone’s muscles are put to good use to save the life of his friend’s daughter, who’s been kidnapped by a Mexican drug cartel.”

It won’t just be his muscles put to use, but plenty of weapons, including guns. How he’ll keep and bear them in Mexico without violating almost as many gun laws as ATF’s Phoenix Field Division is left unstated in what looks to be a nonstop blood orgy with first-rate Hollywood production values.

Those are the only first-rate values we’ll see out of a guy who has attained a ludicrous fortune through cinematic “gun violence,” all the while claiming the right for himself while undermining yours. Stallone’s total in-your-face hypocrisy on the matter makes it fair to ask why any gun owner rights advocate would give him another dime.

Until America, door to door, takes every handgun, this is what you’re gonna have,” Stallone declared after comedian Phil Hartman was murdered by his wife. It wasn’t just an observation, it was a recommendation:

“It’s pathetic. It really is pathetic. It’s sad. We’re living in the Dark Ages over there. It has to be stopped, and someone really has to go on the line, a certain dauntless political figure, and say, ‘It’s ending, it’s over, all bets are off.’ It’s not 200 years ago, we don’t need this anymore, and the rest of the world doesn’t have it. Why should we?”

That pretend warrior Stallone should call on government raids to disarm millions of real veterans and the rest of his countrymen goes beyond hypocritical. It’s contemptible. And he didn’t stop there.

Not only are there additional anti-Second Amendment quotes, but also photos of Stallone pumping his fist at a Brady Center event in Los Angeles. Oh, and did I mention he was issued one of those “may issue” (meaning “may not” to you and me) Los Angeles concealed carry permits?

Forget a fake punch to the jaw. Donald Trump considering Stallone for a National Endowment of the Arts role was a slap in the face to the gun owners who elected him.

Speaking of pumping his fist, Stallone “joked” about “injecting” a former girlfriend with his. That’s some “action hero.” And then there were multiple allegations of sexual abuse, many with corroborating evidence that merit a consistent #MeToo treatment, especially from all those #BelieveWomen “progressives” who also share Stallone’s anti-gun sentiments.

Talk about red flags, and over the course of years. Imagine the law enforcement response — as demanded by Stallone’s fellow travelers in forced citizen disarmament — if such charges were leveled against you.

Why gun owners who care about their rights would pay top dollar to reward someone who wants to see them stripped of their birthright is a question only they can answer, especially when major theater chains are “gun-free zones.” But that hardly matters to someone who, based on his own words and actions, considers his fans to be “the expendables”…
