Columbia, MO -(AmmoLand.com)- The Iowa Quality Center (IQC) recently welcomed Larry Potterfield, Founder and CEO of MidwayUSA, to the 2016 Iowa Recognition for Performance Excellence (IRPE) Conference and Celebration where he delivered the keynote speech entitled, “Leadership” to the 2015 IRPE Award Recipients followed by a breakout session on Strategic Planning.
The ceremony was held March 31st at the Prairie Meadows Conference Center in Altoona, Iowa.
The IRPE Conference and Celebration recognized six role model Iowa organizations who completed a rigorous organizational assessment and have demonstrated sustainability and have maintained a future focus on performance excellence. Honored at the Tier 3 Leadership Level – Silver Achievement was Firestone Farm Tires, Des Moines, Iowa and Urbandale Community School District, Urbandale, Iowa. Honored at the Tier 3 Leadership – Bronze Achievement was Iowa Donor Network, North Liberty and Johnston, Iowa. Honored at the Tier 2 Progress Level was D & B Agro Systems, Ltd, Hubbard, Iowa. Honored at the Tier 1 Commitment Level was America’s Small Business Development Center – Iowa and Fairfield Community School District, Fairfield, Iowa.
Larry Potterfield serves as MidwayUSA’s CEO and Chairman of the Board. He is a husband, father, grandfather and lifelong student of shooting, reloading, gunsmithing and hunting. In business, he is a student of leadership and modern management practices.
