Atlanta, GA -(Ammoland.com)- FOG Ammo, Patriot Promotions and Max Michel congratulate, Ayden Parsons on winning the 2014 World Steel Challenge, Junior Championship Title! Congratulations to Junior Shooter, Ayden Parsons for his 2014 Championship Title at the World Steel Challenge, last week! His father Heath Parsons, also sponsored by FOG Ammo, did well placing 4th overall, out of 865 competitors. Heath grew up shooting matches with some of our most notable Super Squad, but life events unfortunately diverted him from a pro career. However, he is back in action with his son Ayden picking up titles after only shooting for a year! Friends like Max Michel see there is some truth to the saying, ‘like father, like son.’
Max told us that just like Ayden and Heath, “I started shooting competitively back when I was 8 years old and have been doing so now for more than 20 years. Starting from a young shooter and progressing into the Professional status, I can see potential in people before they do usually. Ayden is one of those kids that has it! From the first time I’ve seen him shoot I knew he would be special. However, the most impressive part about him is his maturity. He is so well mannered and extremely respectful… Until he’s shooting and then he will beat up on anyone in his way! He’s a great kid and will be an amazing shooter as he continues to develop. Heath is doing a great job with him and I hope to get my kids involved very soon as well.”
Ayden is now 11 years old and has racked up such titles as;
- Texas State Junior, Open Champion
- Texas State Junior, Pro-Am Champion
- US Steel Nationals in Titusville Florida, (high overall pre-teen) Open Champion, and now…
- 2014 World Steel Challenge, Jr. Champion!
