Shooters looking to score $5,000 worth of guns and gear will get their chance through a YouTube video contest hosted by Kahr Firearms Group.
The company challenges contestants 18 years or older to submit a video of their impressive shooting skills using Kahr Arms, Desert Eagle, Auto-Ordnance, Thompson or Magnum Research firearms.
“For three years now, we have hosted these YouTube shooting challenges” said Frank Harris, vice president of sales and marketing, in a statement. “In our first challenge, we asked contestants to demonstrate their accuracy and skill at long-range shooting. In year two, it was an action-packed speed shooting contest. This year we are looking for some safe, fun, creative shooting demonstrations. Responsible shooting of any Kahr Firearm Group gun is always enjoyable – and we want videos that demonstrate that in a creative way.”
Videos will be judged based on the number of likes and views, with each like counting as five views.
Videos must be uploaded to YouTube and a link submitted to Kahr by Dec. 31. All submissions must be a minimum of 30 seconds and a maximum of 5 minutes in length. Winners will be announced on Jan. 16, 2017.
Past winners include Amy Jane who walked away with the 2014 shooting prize for the long range contest with her Kahr CW9 and Dan Abraham who took first with his Magnum Research MR9 in the fast shooting competition in 2015.
