Funny guy Jim Carrey issued an apology to “assault rifle” owners on Sunday via Twitter. The apologetic tweet came three-and-a-half-months after Carry aired his “Cold Dead Hand” video, which called gun owners “heartless motherf%ckers.”

He also assured everyone that he made the decision to apologize all by himself.
Btw I don’t need a crisis mgr, just a conscience. Calling ppl names is inappropriate but my position on assault weapons hasn’t changed. ;^}
