TALIM COMBATIVES FIXED BLADE SYSTEM
The Talim is a purpose-built hand-to-hand combat tool designed to cut through typical clothing/gear in real-world combat situations while retaining the ability to efficiently cut and pierce flesh in an offensive/defensive situation.
The Talim Combatives Fixed Blade System includes a live blade, an aluminum training blade, and sheaths for each. It is available in either titanium or stainless steel, with inlays of either carbon fiber or G10.
FEATURES
- The live blade is ground to a zero edge, then back-beveled to create the final edge. This makes for an extremely sharp final edge.
- The handles are press fit 1/16thof an inch into the blade and then glued in place with a high-temperature tolerant rubberized adhesive. This aids in removing potential hardware that could loosen/corrode over time. It also makes for extremely strong handle retention.
- The handles are 3D textured and contoured to aid in grip and comfort – even when wet or covered in foreign materials.
- The knife has a curved and contoured pommel that indexes perfectly for extremely fast draw times from the sheath system.
- The training blade is ½” shorter than the live blade so as not to create training deficiencies when striking a target.
- The momentum sheath system is built for extreme speed and retention under most circumstances.
A8 SLIMLINE
The A8 Slimline is a down-home, hard-working folding knife that’s designed to be at home in your pocket, so it’s always where you need it to be it. The A8 sports a 3.25” long blade and slides into the pocket with ease.
