“This was a great day for our company,” remarked Michael Kassnar, vice president of sales and marketing for IWI US. He continued, “Over the past several years we’ve worked very hard to bring the TAVOR® to the US market and we have been humbled by the overwhelming response we’ve received. With the TAVOR® taking its rightful place in history at the phenomenal NRA National Firearm Museum, it only confirms the fact that we are doing something right by the American consumer.”

National Firearms Museum Director Jim Supica was on hand during the ceremony to receive Serial No. 1 from the IWI US and IWI Israel representatives. Upon the ceremonies completion, famed historian and Senior Curator Phil Schreier gave an informative tour of the museum to representatives of IWI US and IWI Israel.

The NRA National Firearms Museum consists of 15 galleries comprised of 85 exhibit cases housing 3,000 firearms in a 15,000 square foot facility. The Museum details and examines the nearly 700-year history of firearms with a special emphasis on firearms, freedom and the American experience. The firearms tell the stories of how they were used to provide security and sustenance to the early colonists, how they were used to secure American freedom and independence and have been used ever since to maintain and preserve those liberties. Within the galleries are also tales of exploration, manufacturing, competition, hunting and recreational shooting sports.
