U.S.A.-(Ammoland.com)- Multiple platforms across the Internet have banned Alex Jones and his website, InfoWars. Apple, Spotify, and YouTube have all removed his content. These Internet platforms claim it is because of his campaign of harassment against refugees, Muslims, and transgender people. His supporters argue that this is just a coordinated attack against conservative voices.

Alex Jones is a conspiracy theorist that rails against what he calls the “New World Order” that “Globalist” run. He has pushed the theory of “Pizza Gate” which was a supposed child sex slave ring ran out of a Clinton linked pizza restaurant in DC. He also claimed that the victims of Sandy Hook were crisis actors.

Jones has made some pretty outlandish claims, and for the most part, I don’t buy into his theories. The question is, are these reasons enough to silence him? Was this a coordinated move or was it just a big coincidence?

These companies are well within their rights to refuse service to whomever they want. The First Amendment only protects people from the government and not companies, but these companies are pushing the idea that this doesn’t have to do with Jones’ politics. They are claiming that it has to do with the violation of their terms of service.

Does that reason really add up? What are the chances of all these companies banning him virtually at the same time? Laws of probability would make it seem more likely that these Internet giants banned InfoWars due to pressure from outside sources than from violations of TOS, and there is evidence that this is what happened.

CNN has been pushing for the banning of InfoWars for a while. On July 11th, Oliver Darcy penned a column for CNN Money that openly called for Facebook to ban InfoWars. In the article, CNN demanded that the social media giant explain why it has not banned InfoWars for fake news. CNN doesn’t have a very good recent track record with reporting accurate news itself.

CNN is not satisfied with just getting InfoWars removed from the YouTube, Facebook, Apple, and Spotify. Yesterday they published an article asking why that the InfoWars app is still available on the Google Play store. It seems like CNN smells blood in the water and want to take away people’s choices of where they get their news.

This situation isn’t just about CNN’s war against Jones though. It is about if these companies are being honest about not being victims of the pressure exerted by Social Justice Warriors. We can make an educated guess on this by examining the evidence at hand.

First, all these Silicon Valley companies claim that one of the reasons that Jones was banned was for harassing speech towards different groups. The Nation of Islam is an anti-white and anti-Semitic group. The Internet giants shouldn’t allow this group on their platforms if they judged right wing and left wing groups by the same standards, but yet the Nation of Islam has a YouTube page.

On one YouTube video, Louis Farrakhan pushes the conspiracy theory that the Jews control America. Google is letting this video stay up on their YouTube platform. We have to ask, “what is the difference between InfoWars’ conspiracy theories and The Nation of Islam’s?”

I would argue that Jones is considered to be right wing and that the blatant racist Farrakhan is on the far left. Social Justice Warriors cheer the removal of one but would decry censorship for the removal for the other. Social Justice Warriors only care about social justice when that social justice goes to whomever they deem worthy.

Rose City Antifa is an ultra-violent anarcho-communist group that was responsible for attacking peaceful protesters and the police this past weekend in Portland, Oregon. They have called for violence against just about everyone. They also push for the overthrow of the US government. Their Facebook page is still up.

In fact, Antifa pages are up across all platforms. Antifa has claimed to have poured concrete on railroad tracks, burned limos of a Muslim immigrant in DC, and threw explosives into crowds. All of their social media pages are still up, and no one is banning them.

What is the difference between InfoWars and Antifa (besides the fact that the DHS classifies Antifa’s actions as terrorist activities)? One is right wing, and one is left wing. I am not a conspiracy theorist, but the evidence against the Internet overlords is pretty damning.

When the political winds are used to silence voices, the Republic is imperial. Ray Bradbury wrote Fahrenheit 451 in 1953 about a future American dystopia where society demands the burning of books. Bradbury was making a point about the dangers of censorship. I would suggest my friends on the left wing read his masterpiece before it is too late.
