Idaho – -(AmmoLand.com)- The moment that gun owners have been waiting for has finally arrived!
Your hard work and dedication to moving Constitutional Carry Expansion forward is paying off.
After a lengthy and productive discussion with Chairman Patti Ann Lodge, she agreed to hold a hearing on a bill that has been crucial to gun owners for the last three years.
Here are the details:
Date: Friday – March 22nd, 2019
Time: 8:00 a.m.
Location: West Wing Room 55 or the Lincoln Auditorium
The Idaho Hemp bill is also going to be heard the same day as Constitutional Carry Expansion (HB 206) and we anticipate that the hearing is going to be jam-packed. We anticipate the hearing could be moved to the Lincoln Auditorium if the committee anticipates a large turnout.
Both rooms are on the bottom floor (Garden Level) of the capitol on the West Wing (Senate side) and if you want to stay up to date on last-minute changes. Be sure to check out our Facebook Event Link for details. (Facebook account is not required to see this information.)
We are in the final stretches of the 2019 Idaho Legislative Session. This is not a time to relax and assume that things are going to pass through automatically.
We are going to need every gun owner to contact their Senator and tell them to vote “Yes” on HB 206! Your activism is crucial to the success of this bill.
If you can make it to the capitol then please do so!
Bloomberg and his cronies from Moms Demand Action are already pushing Senators to kill the legislation. Their fear-mongering and “sky is falling” scenarios are already being painted.
You and I know these scenarios don’t exist, and they are the same scenarios they tried to paint back in 2016 when we first got Constitutional Carry through the Idaho legislature.
Don’t let gun grabbers influence our legislators into voting against HB 206!
Show up at the committee on Friday and make sure your voice is heard.
Until then, and just in case you can’t go, be sure to send your Senator an email IMMEDIATELY and encourage them to vote “Yes” on HB 206!
