New Berlin, Wis. –(Ammoland.com)- The popular saying associated with The Lone Star State is that “everything is bigger in Texas” – including the state’s feral pig problem. On this week’s episode of Heli-Hunter, exclusively on Sportsman Channel, Sunday June 8 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, owners/co-hosts Craig Meier and Terrell Coleman take on the overabundance of hogs ravaging a local farmer’s land in an attempt to curb the financial drain the pigs are causing the farm and crops.

Feral pigs cause local Texas farmers like Roland Christian staggering amounts of lost production and severe land damage. So, with the help of an old friend Jay Krajca, Meier takes to the sky in an attempt to save not only Christian’s farm, but his source of income and livelihood.

Roland told us he’s lost around $80,000 in production this last year,” said Meier. “These hogs are absolutely destroying his land. The longer we wait, the worse it’s gonna’ get.”

When Krajca’s shooting doesn’t go as planned, Meier worries Heli-Hunter won’t be able to eradicate enough feral pigs to save Christian’s farm. Meier then calls on Coleman to take flight and target the destructive hogs.

See how it plays out each week exclusively on Sportsman Channel, Sundays at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT and again on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
