Port Clinton, Ohio –-(Ammoland.com)- Recently the Awards Ceremony for NRA’s 2012 Long Range High Power Rifle Championships was held.

Headlining the night was David Luckman. A member of the Great Britain Rifle Team, Luckman’s participation in this year’s tournament was initially intended as a warm up for today’s America Match. But he didn’t exactly use the past few days for practice.

“I was hoping, maybe, to get top Palma Rifle shot,” said Luckman. “To win the overall (NRA) Championship is just brilliant. I’m very very pleased.”

On the back to such an impressive performance, should the other teams (America, Japan, Australia & Canada) be worried about Great Britain’s chances in the America Match?

“We’ve been over here twice in recent years and the home nation got the best of us, so we’re really hoping that we can turn it around this year.”

With any luck, maybe he’ll be distracted with thoughts of how the heck he’s going to ship all the new hardware home.
