Amin Abdulah Mohammed was shot in the head and strung up on a soccer goal after al Qaeda operatives discovered he was working with the CIA.

Al Qaeda operatives in Yemen shot an “American Spy” in the head before hanging his body on a soccer goalpost for everyone to see.

Amin Abdulah Mohammed, a CIA-recruited informant, was killed after al Qaeda discovered he was working with the U.S. His body was hung at the same site of a Dec. 24, 2013, American drone strike that killed five Yemenis. Beside Mohammed’s body was an ominous note, Gawker reports.

Written on the black banners of an al Qaeda flag were the messages, “American Spy in the Arabian Peninsula,” and “Whoever fights with the government or cooperates with it is not a Yemeni, not a Hadrami, but a traitor.” Another banner read, “Guider of American planes to kill Muslims.”

According to Long War Journal, sources from the Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula claim Mohammad “planted microphones in AQAP vehicles and meeting places in order to guide American drone missiles.”
