Washington DC – -(Ammoland.com)-  During a March 11th 2014 guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Texas Governor Rick Perry (R) told Kimmel, “I do interviews with a gun.”

According to National Review Online, the topic of firearms came up after Kimmel brought up the story of Perry shooting a coyote while out on a jog in February 2010.

Kimmel asked, “You jog with a gun?” Perry replied, “I do interviews with a gun.”

In other portions of the interview Perry talked of reducing “penalties for minor drug offenses, his love for Willie Nelson, and the time he jammed with ZZ Top on the drums during a concert.”
