The unidentified suspect first helped the victim look for his wallet before robbing him at gunpoint.

A “good Samaritan” first helped a Seattle man find his wallet before robbing him at gunpoint instead Monday night.

The victim was walking home around 10 p.m. when he realized he had dropped his wallet along the way. He stopped to look for it, and a passerby offered to help. The “good Samaritan” said he found the wallet and called the victim over, only to rob him at gunpoint, Komo News reports.

The unidentified suspect never actually found the wallet. When the victim walked over, the robber pulled out a gun and stole the victim’s cellphone and backpack before fleeing on foot.

Police never captured the robber, but the victim described him as a black male in his early 20s with dreadlocks, nearly 6 feet tall, and wearing a camouflage jacket with yellow boots.
