Glass-tipped shotgun slugs: The lovechild of art and destruction (VIDEO)

The guys at TAOFLEDERMAUS recently decided to try out what they described as “ornate fancy schmancy slugs.”

The slugs are handmade out of glass and, as if that’s not enough to impress, the glass encases nails for an added dose of destruction. The result is a work of art, really, almost too pretty to shoot. Almost.

The guys go through the gamut of usual targets – a clay block, a dummy wearing a Level 3 Kevlar vest, a giant gummy bear, and finally a lawn mower engine. The end result, as one viewer noted, “Is just ridiculous,” with none of the test subjects surviving.
