A known gang member with distinctive facial markings was arrested Monday following a traffic stop in Fresno after officers found him to be in possession of firearms, pot and drug paraphernalia.
After the traffic stop, officers decided to also search the home of Khamprasong Thammavong, who was on probation as part of his AB-109 early release program. There, authorities found photographs of Thammavong with firearms. Upon further inspection, authorities discovered a semi-automatic rifle, a semi-automatic handgun, law enforcement-type tactical gear, 38 marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia.
Thammavong, who is a convicted felon and barred from possessing firearms, did not have a license to grow marijuana.
