Fox News host slams gun safety report from own network (VIDEO)

Fox News host Tucker Carlson got up in arms over a gun safety segment about a woman whose son was fatally shot while spending the night at his friend’s house.

The segment was about a 12-year-old boy who, while visiting a friend’s house was shot by an improperly secured firearm. The video was meant to garner attention for a new bill that “requires the safe storage of all guns not in the immediate possession or control of the gun owner.” But according to Carlson, the segment was just a scare tactic.

“The point of that package was, guns are scary, gun owners are a threat to you and your children,” Carlson said. “I’d like to see a package on ‘Do you have a bathtub at home? Because I need to know that before I send my child over to your house.’ A little perspective might be helpful.”
