Ed Brown Products announced a new addition to its series of 1911 pistols, adding a compact, easy to conceal version to the lineup.

The new 1911 comes at the behest of Ed Brown fans, looking for the clean 1911 look but in smaller package. Equipped with an Officer’s sized frame geared towards concealment, the Compact also offers a 4.25-inch slide for longer sight radius. The pistol comes standard with a bevy of custom digs, including fully-machined premium components and a lifetime warranty.

Decked out in checkered laminate wood grips for that classic 1911 look, the handgun also boasts a fixed black rear sight and red fiber optic front sight. In addition, the matte finished slide offers low glare with “square cut” serrations on the rear.

Keeping with Ed Brown Products’ commitment to customization, the new handgun offers a nice list of options to personalize the pistol.

“It is always exciting to add new models, and the new Compact 1911 really shows our customers that we are working to meet their needs,” John May, Sales and Marketing Director for Ed Brown Products, said in a press release.

Base price on the new Compact 1911 from Ed Brown is $2,695.
