The original leak came from artist Koen Vlaswinkel and posted by twitter account @BGDaily, containing an excess of game details regarding EA’s newest edition to the Battlefield series. The ensuing version of EA’s premiere shooting franchise is undoubtedly titled Battlefield: Hardline and will pit players in the middle of armed conflict between cops and robbers.

Vlaswinkel originally stated, “While I was looking in the source of Battlelog, I found a game called BFH. I went into the CSS file for BFH and found some images that relate to this game.”

The game’s achievements, ribbons and equipment are among a few of the resources that seem to have been leaked on twitter through the twitter account named @BGDaily. Along with EA’s logos for Battlefield: Hardlines for the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4.

Two of EA’s studios; Visceral Games and GHOST Studios, seem to be conjointly developing this new and fresh edition to the Battlefield series.

Visceral Games is the studio that brought us great games like Dead Space 3 for the consoles and PC. While GHOST Studios is a new game studio that brought us Need for Speed: Rivals, a studio established under EA and located in Gothenburg and Guildford. Gothenburg is Sweden’s second major metropolis containing a population around 1 million people while Guildford is the home to the UK’s video game industry.

“This charming location was chosen because of the plethora of highly talented game developers that can be found in that part of Sweden and its southern regions.”

Battlefield: Hardline will allegedly feature three game modes called Blood Money, Bomb Squad and Carrier Assault along with four playable classes titled Enforcer, Mechanic, Professional and Operator.

After the explosion of feedback concerning the leaked information was posted, Vice president and General Manager Steve Papoutsis was eager to comment on behalf of everyone at EA and Visceral Games about their new project. Steve’s post can be seen on EA’s website here.

“There’s been a lot of buzz today about Battlefield Hardline; we’re getting ready for E3 and fans found some details on our website about what we’re working on for the show.”

Steve’s initial post indicates that the official world premiere for Battlefield: Hardline will show on June 9th at Noon PDT.

I have reached out to EA regarding any ensuing comments and will update this post if they reply.
