Border Patrol agents at the Douglas Port of Entry in Arizona on Friday found a catapult system used to hurl drugs across the U.S.-Mexico border.

The device was discovered while agents were patrolling near the border and noticed several people running away from the area. Upon further inspection, the agents found two bundles of marijuana with a combined weight of nearly 50 pounds.

The Border Patrol agents contacted Mexican authorities to assist in the investigation. The drugs were seized by the Border Patrol, while the catapult, which was affixed to the south side of the border fence, was confiscated by Mexican authorities.

No arrests have been made at this time.
