WILSONVILLE, Ore. -(Ammoland.com)- Crimson Trace, recognized as America’s top brand of laser sights, today announced that its innovative LiNQ wireless light and laser control system has been recognized by the National Rifle Association as the 2017 American Rifleman Golden Bullseye Accessory of the Year. The award was presented at the NRA’s Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia.

“We at Crimson Trace are honored to have our LiNQ wireless light and laser sight control system recognized by the editors of NRA’s American Rifleman as the 2017 Golden Bullseye Award Accessory of the Year,” said Lane Tobiassen, Crimson Trace President. “Our engineers have integrated their tremendous expertise into the product’s design, anticipating our customers’ needs and wants, and incorporating those features and user benefits into the award-winning LiNQ wireless system. We are proud to continue leading the laser sight industry in innovation and performance.” Crimson Trace now offers two versions of the LiNQ wireless system to consumers—an AR/MSR unit and an AK-type model.

Doug Hamlin, Executive Director of NRA Publications, said “This year’s winners exemplify what NRA members want in their shooting and hunting equipment—outstanding performance, innovative design, and value. We congratulate those who have created the industry’s best new products and we look forward to recognizing them in Atlanta.”

To qualify for consideration for a Golden Bullseye Award, a product must be proven reliable in the field, meet or exceed the evaluator’s expectations, and seen as innovative in design and function, along with other criteria.

Firearms expert and NRA’s American Rifleman magazine contributor, B. Gil Horman, tested the LiNQ wireless laser and light control system and noted, “The new Crimson Trace LiNQ wireless system is remarkable among today’s long gun laser sight offerings because its wireless controls allow it to blend so seamlessly into the AR platform to which it is attached.

Like the company’s other Instinctive-Activation Lasergrips laser sight products, the LiNQ system is up and running the moment the operator grasps the grip—no fuss, no muss, just reliable illumination and laser sighting—without the hassle of support-hand activation switches or looping cables.”

LiNQ is a wirelessly operated laser sight and light product designed to securely attach to most rifles with Weaver or Picatinny accessory rails. The remotely operated module can be placed in unlimited locations on the rifle and houses a brilliant green laser and 300-lumen white LED light.

The replacement activation grip utilizes Crimson Trace’s patented Instinctive Activation laser activation technology to operate the module through a secure singular closed system. The module operates in four modes: light only, laser only, laser and light, and laser and strobe light. The control grip has in the upper front to operate the system.

Other features of the LiNQ wireless operation system are: Crimson Trace’s Secure Lock technology to anchor the module to the rifle’s rail system, a master on/off switch at the base of the waterproof replacement grip, and elevation and windage adjustment screws within the module.

The module can also be operated independent of the control grip. The grip and the module are pre-paired at the state-of-the-art Crimson Trace factory when packaged for shipping.
