St. Paul, MN -(AmmoLand.com)- Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever is excited to welcome Dot Records American country music artist, Drake White, as the headline entertainment for 2016 National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic in Kansas City, Missouri.
White will perform at the National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic Banquet on Saturday, February 20 at the Kansas City Convention Center. His performance is presented by Federal Premium Ammunition.
Recently named one of Billboard’s top 10 hottest new country stars, Drake White is celebrated for his up-tempo take on traditional country. White has opened for heavy hitters in the country music genre including Kid Rock, Eric Church, Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band, and Little Big Town. His breakout singles produced in recent years include “The Simple Life” and “It Feels Good.”
Wildlife habitat conservation and the outdoor lifestyle have remained a refuge from the trials of the music industry and rigors of life on the road for White. A native of Hokes Bluff, Alabama, he fosters a deep reverence for the land, wildlife, and all things outdoors. Some of White’s fondest childhood memories include when his father and grandfather taught him the basics of tracking whitetail deer, fixing old boat motors, and how to respect the land. Equally enthused about music and the outdoors, White has been able to combine his two passions into an exhilarating country music career.
