In four years, one company has turned more than 1,100 guns into jewelry.

“We felt compelled to take action to fight gun violence in America with beauty and inspiration,” Liberty United notes on its website.

The company has taken confiscated guns, which are normally destroyed, from five communities across the country and turned them into fashion accessories. Each piece is engraved with the serial number of the gun from which it was created.

Prices range from $35 to $4,000 and 25 percent of every purchase goes toward programs aimed at helping at-risk youth.
