Scroll engraved slide and frame with gold inlaid borders. Standard two-line caliber marking on the right side of the slide and two-line Colt Hartford address/patent dates (1896, 1897, 1903 and 1910) on the left.
The engraver’s initials that appear to be “JTB” are marked on the right trigger guard bow. Fitted with checkered grips with “COLT” banners at the tops and Rampant Colts backed by a stylized “C” at the bottoms. With a two-tone unmarked magazine.
Condition:
Custom engraved and finished with virtually all of the current blue finish remaining with limited handling marks. The markings are visible. The engraving is clear and crisp. The grips are very good with minimal handling wear. Mechanically excellent. ( See RIA Auction for Exact Condition Details)
