Washington DC – -(Ammoland.com)- Six Colorado Sheriffs will attend a Wednesday rally to “lend their voices to citizens fighting for their Constitutional rights through the recall process.”

The rally is from 12 PM to 1 PM MDT and is being held at the Pioneer Museum in Colorado Springs.

The Sheriffs who will be in attendance are part of the group of 55 who have filed suit to have Colorado’s new gun control laws overturned: El Paso County Sheriff Terry Maketa, Weld County Sheriff John Cooke, Teller County Sheriff Mike Ensminger, Douglas County Sheriff Dave Weaver, Gilpin County Sheriff Bruce Hartman, and Cheyenne County Sheriff Ken Putnam.

Sheriff Maketa heaped praise on those fighting for their Constitutional rights through the recall process:

“This effort has truly been the essence of grassroots and is driven by a passion for freedom and protection of citizens’ rights. I applaud those who have worked so diligently to be heard; this effort has been nothing short of historic. Government should always be for the people, by the people.”
