Colorado –-(Ammoland.com)- Colorado’s gun-grabbing state legislature has pushed our backs against the wall.
While we were able to kill 2 anti-gun bills in the Senate last week, the other 4 passed.
The House has just approved Senate amendments, and three of the bills are headed to the Governor’s desk RIGHT NOW!
The fourth (HB-1229) is in committee today, and could go to the Governor’s desk very soon.
Gov. Hickenlooper is our last chance of defeating these bills.
As you probably know, the 4 draconian anti-gun bills on the verge of becoming law are:
- • SB 195: ends online training for concealed-carry permits.
- • HB 1224: bans all standard magazines with capacities of more than 15 rounds.
- • HB 1228: establishes a Jim Crow-style tax on gun purchases, making you pay the government for permission to exercise your Second Amendment right.
- • HB 1229: establishes a “universal background checks” (gun-owner registration) system which bans individual private sales and transfers.
- That’s why I need your help.
I need you to contact Gov. Hickenlooper RIGHT AWAY and ask him to VETO ALL these gun-grabbing bills!

It will be exceedingly more difficult to repeal these bills than to just stop them right now.
Gov. Hickenlooper has indicated his support for some of these bills. But with enough pressure from the voters, there is still a chance he will listen to the people, and veto the bills.
That’s why I’m again asking you to contact the Governor IMMEDIATELY.
He needs to hear from pro-gun Coloradans that these gun-grabbing bills do not represent the will of the people.
Ask Gov. Hickenlooper that Coloradans will never support the anti-gun agenda of New York City liberal elitists. Their values are not the values of Coloradans.
These gun-grabbing bills will do nothing to increase safety and decrease crime. They will only punish law-abiding citizens.
And the WORST part is that they restrict our liberty when the role of the government is to protect it!
I am calling on ALL RMGO SUPPORTERS to contact the Governor and ask him to veto these bills.
