USA – -(Ammoland.com)- NRATV’s Colion Noir has released a bold new statement on why gun owners should be fighting to make the use of silencers the new normal. “If you want to protect your freedom, take the suppressor off your mouth and put it on your gun,” says Colion.
The release comes as NRA-ILA’s Executive Director, Chris Cox, announced full support for the Hearing Protection Act of 2017 (HPA). Sound suppressors are currently subject to the National Firearms Act (NFA) prolonged application and waiting process and a $200 tax stamp. The HPA would remove suppressors from regulation under the NFA and treat them as ordinary firearms under the Gun Control Act of 1968 (GCA).
