Coast Guard shoots out motor on a speed boat… carrying $35 million worth of cocaine (VIDEO)

A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter shot and disabled the motor of a speed boat in the Caribbean Sea last Saturday after the driver of the boat ignored warning shots. It turns out that the boat was transporting cocaine — a whole lot of cocaine. The Coast Guard recovered 2,300 pounds of blow from the boat, totaling a street value of about $35 million dollars.

“This is a big seizure, this is 2,300 pounds of cocaine that will not make it to America,” said Lt. Cmdr. Gabe Somma with the U.S. Coast Guard 7th District.

Four suspects aboard the boat were arrested.
