EDGEFIELD, S.C. –-(Ammoland.com)- Chevrolet has reaffirmed its longstanding commitment to supporting conservation by extending its partnership with the National Wild Turkey Federation.

2014 represents the tenth year of the partnership between the NWTF and Chevrolet and will once again make Chevrolet the official vehicle of the NWTF.

The NWTF has launched its Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative, which will conserve 4 million acres, create 1.5 million hunters and open 500,000 acres to public hunting. The extended partnership with Chevrolet will play an important role in supporting the efforts to achieve these bold goals.

“Chevrolet has been a dedicated partner of the NWTF and an important part of the NWTF’s conservation success story,” said George C. Thornton, NWTF CEO. “We are excited that our continued partnership with Chevy will lead to bigger and better accomplishments as we move forward with the Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative.”

“Chevrolet is proud to continue our commitment to conservation through our longstanding partnership with the National Wild Turkey Federation,” said Chris Perry, Vice President, Chevrolet Marketing. “We are very excited to be a partner in NWTF’s Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative and be a part of their continued success and commitment to conservation.”

Chevy will participate at many of the thousands of local NWTF events across the country. This includes dealers having the opportunity to support conservation at the local level by participating at the more than 1,900 NWTF banquets and other events. Chevrolet will once again have a key presence at the NWTF National Convention and Sport Show, offering display vehicles and allowing the more than 44,000 attendees an opportunity to test drive a Chevrolet.
