An unidentified gunman opened fire on a Michigan bus on New Year’s Eve.

The CCTV video from Michigan’s New Year’s Eve bus shooting has been released.

An unidentified gunman opened fire on a Grand Rapids bus at approximately 8:30 p.m. He shot a single round from what is believed to be a .22-caliber pistol. Though the intended victim was nearby, he was not hit, Daily Mail reports.

According to Grand Rapids Police Capt. Peter McWatters, it is unclear what led to the shooting, but shell casings were discovered on the bus and the suspect fled on foot, MLive reports.

The surveillance cameras captured three different angles of the incident.
