BISMARCK, NORTH DAKOTA — -(Ammoland.com)-There are no greater friends to ducks and duck hunters than Delta Waterfowl’s passionate, dedicated volunteers.
They organize fundraising banquets, manage local conservation projects, host First Hunt events for new waterfowlers and provide Delta with resources to meet critical program objectives. Indeed, they are the lifeblood of Delta’s mission to produce ducks and secure the future of waterfowl hunting.
In annually naming a Volunteer of the Year, The Duck Hunters Organization celebrates the thousands of selfless, devoted individuals across the United States and Canada who make its work possible.
“We greatly appreciate the efforts of all of Delta’s volunteers,” said Dr. Scott Petrie, chief executive officer. “This year’s VOY award candidates have truly embraced Delta’s efforts to boost the fall flight and protect the tradition of waterfowl hunting.”
