Browning adds two new pistol storage options to ProSteel line of safes

Browning launched two new additions in the ProSteel safe line, adding the Pistol Vault Portable and Pistol Vault 900 to the mix.

Both support the storage of handguns, cash and small valuables. Featuring a sturdy steel construction and tough locks, the vaults offer durable finishes to secure what matters most.

The Pistol Vault Portable offers on-the-go protection for gun owners with its compact size. The sleek clamshell design provides fast and efficient access to locked contents.

Constructed with a key lock, the vault’s soft interior keeps items protected and in place. Sporting a textured black finish with an weight of six pounds, the Pistol Vault Portable measures in at two to 14-inches tall, 10-inches wide and just over eight-inches in diameter. The portable pistol option is priced at $75.

The Pistol Vault 900 is equipped with either an electronic four-button touch pad lock or a biometric pad. The biometric option grants access with just the touch of a fingertip. Secured with a pair of tough 1/2-inch diameter locking bolts, the sturdy safe can a few more handguns and valuables than the portable vault.

LED lighting illuminates the interior of the safe, making it easier to locate valuables in low lighting. Both models feature a textured black finish with dimensions measuring 9-1/4 inches in height, 11-inches wide and 8-inches in diameter. The electronic lock model retails for $219 while the biometric variant raises the price to $379.
