Retro rifle fans looking to add a little pizzazz to their rifle builds have more options courtesy of Brownells, who recently released a new set of M16A1 style furniture in three colors.

Giving vintage rifle enthusiasts a complete, authentic looking replica of classic early AR-15s, the Brownells series is available in standard black, Air Force contract green and brown. The retro furniture is available separately or in complete furniture sets. The early pattern stock, pistol grips and triangular handguard are all made with fully modern materials.

“Customers have a deep desire for nostalgia, and they wanted to be able to build their own version of an early AR-15 or M16A1,” said Brownells CEO Pete Brownell in a press release. “We’re proud to offer these classic-looking parts to help accomplish those builds.”

Handguards fit into triangular handguard caps while stocks are based on the Type D pattern without a trapdoor compartment. Stocks fit onto A-1 length buffer tubes.

The handguards and stock each retail for $39.99 with the pistol grip priced at $14.99; while the full kit comes in at a cool $79.99.
