Manasquan, NJ –-(Ammoland.com)- “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake” ~ Napoleon Bonaparte

And that is exactly what Michael Bloomberg and his hand picked Mistress of Propaganda Shannon Watts have done, made a colossal blunder.

Everytown For Gun Safety, the latest iteration of Bloomberg and Co’s maniacal gun grabbing efforts released a new commercial titled “Will You Stop This ? “ . Its a transparent effort to ban guns and further demonize men, cynically exploiting the tugging at the heart strings ploys the various gun banners have become famous for over the years.

It depicts a single mom at home with her young son and ominous flashes of a man on her front porch peering in the windows, yelling and pounding at the door. It rapidly becomes clear the man in question is her ex lover and the boys father. As the woman frantically dials 911 for help, we see the spurned former love interest kick in the front door and begin to struggle with the woman, while we hear the emergency dispatcher asking if the woman has a restraining order.

Eventually the man manages to grab his young son from the couch and as the couple struggle and fight, he pulls out a handgun, aims it at the woman’s face and the screen fades out as the sound of a gunshot is heard.

The commercial ends with a screen shot advising viewers to contact their various elected officials urging them to help stop “gun violence” against women. (You can not make this stuff up…)

The problem for Bloomberg and Co is that what they have actually managed to do with this commercial is to prove exactly what Pro Gun, Pro Self Defense, Pro Women empowerment advocates have been pointing out for years.

That when anyone, woman or man ( yes there are violent female domestic abusers) is confronted by an unhinged lunatic bent on getting revenge or having their way, 911, the Police and a piece of paper cannot possibly stop the attacker before they carry out their plan.

The commercial, instead of sending a compelling and effective message in support of further gun control, actually winds up validating, in vivid detail, precisely what the NRA stated in the immediate aftermath of the tragic Newtown Shooting. That the only reliable way to stop a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy ( or girl) with a gun.

Had the woman in the commercial been armed, the outcome would have been very, very different. With the spurned ex either run off ( to be arrested later for violating the magic piece of paper, as well as attempted breaking and entering), or shot dead in righteous and lawful self defense when he realized his intended victim was not the easy target he planned for.

If this is the kind of messaging the we can expect from Watts in the future, it will make the job of defending the Second Amendment and the Right to Self Defense much easier.

Far be it from me to interrupt them in their efforts.
