Washington DC – -(Ammoland.com)-  As the final two weeks of the Virginia gubernatorial election draw near, NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s gun control super PAC is committed to spending $1.1 million on ads for Terry McAuliffe (D).

It is hard to think of a clearer way to tell Virginians just how anti-gun McAuliffe will be if he wins the election.

According to Politico, the money will be spent on “broadcast television commercials in the D.C. market.”

McAuliffe has been wooing Bloomberg since August, hoping to get some money from his fellow gun control proponent. Bloomberg just spent “over $1 million helping elect Newark Mayor Cory Booker to the Senate in New Jersey special election.”

Like McAuliffe, Booker is anti-gun.

Virginia GOP gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli’s campaign responded to Bloomberg’s financial support of the McAuliffe campaign:

Terry McAuliffe and his allies are spending tens of millions of dollars in an attempt to buy Virginia’s governor’s mansion and impose an ideological agenda that will severely restrict Virginians’ Second Amendment rights, hike energy prices for Virginia families, and undermine our right to work laws.

Besides benefiting from contributions from his gun control allies, McAuliffe has also benefited from donations from Planned Parenthood.
