USA –-(Ammoland.com)- On March 22, 2015, the team of BlanchardOutdoors.com recorded their third show live radio show in the studios of WBGR to a live audience.
Blanchard Outdoors is a new project for Rev. Kenn “Black Man With A Gun” Blanchard that is taking his love of broadcasting and the Second Amendment to the next level with a show about hunting, fishing and the outdoors with his special brand of storytelling.
It is a co-hosted show with De Brown, and Lenessa Terry that both hunt and fish. Together they blend experiences and contacts to bring in special guests, interesting topics and share knowledge of the outdoors that is missing in urban contemporary radio.
The show airs Sunday nights in Maryland on a urban Christian station with about 300K listeners. Blanchard Outdoors is also presented as a podcast on iTunes, Stitcher Radio and TuneIn now because of Kenn’s knowledge of social media on the following Monday and perpetuity.
The live radio experience has been challenging for Blanchard who has been podcasting for seven years and become an audiophile. The first shows have not been smooth because the engineer by his own admission has been so engrossed in the show that he has made a few mistakes. We are expecting this to change for the better from this point forward.
What makes this show different is the blend of talents that Kenn has put together for this hour long show. Blanchard Outdoors gives you a chance to share your stories, experiences and knowledge with other urban hunters, fisherman and outdoor enthusiasts. Having this radio show gives professional captains, anglers, guides and hunters the opportunity to advertise and showcase their businesses to an audience hasn’t been represented before. This show also helps bridge the gap between the curious, the novice and the pros. It’s informative, and presented as a journey.
The team plans to use this show to spotlight and grow a community of shooters, hunters, fishermen and outdoors people in a way that has never been done before. The show is currently using the Internet but wants to ultimately shoot video around the country in the field and end up on network TV.
The show was crowdfunded by friends of Kenn Blanchard for its launch, and sponsored in part by American Built Arms, Crossbreed Holsters and the Armed Citizens Legal Defense Network.

So far this month they have spoken to Ms. Tiffany Johnson, Esq. from RangeMaster in Tennessee; Mr. Kalon D. Johnson, pro angler in Louisiana and Mr. William “Bubba” Ray, a pro angler from Texas. In celebration of Womens’ Month, before the beginning of Spring turkey hunting season, the next guest will be Ms. Torica Whitty, a US Army veteran and pro bass angler.
