Titusville, FL – An armed Santa Claus protects Baby Jesus from a masked, knife-wielding terrorist on an original Christmas card distributed this year by gun rights expert John M. Snyder.

The card depicts Baby Jesus lying in a crib centered on the card. Eying the Infant, the terrorist with knife in hand stands on one side of the crib. Santa stands on the other side, pointing a handgun at the terrorist.

Snyder said, “This contemporary art work reflects current reality. Islamist terrorists behead innocent victims around the world, even here in the United States. They persecute Christians, especially Catholics, who worship Jesus Christ as the Son of God, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity.

“On this Christmas message, Santa Claus, who for many represents the Christmas spirit, uses force of arms to rescue the Infant Jesus from a terrorist. Governments and other entities worthy of respect appreciate the right and ability of individuals to use firearms to protect the innocent.”

The card wishes recipients “Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays.”

Named the “dean of Washington gun lobbyists” by the Washington Post and New York Times, Snyder has been called a “champion of the right to self-defense” by the Washington Times, “the senior rights activist in Washington” by Shotgun News, and the “gun dean” by Human Events.
