AR-15 Podcast 109 – Appleseed Interview With Tim Frey

DeKalb, Illinois – Anthony Hardy makes his first appearance as a solo host, and brings you Episode 109 of  the AR-15 Podcast. This week, Anthony interviews Wim Frey of the Applecore of Appleseed.

Tim starts off the show by telling a little about himself, where he’s from, and how he got into Appleseed. Appleseed is a rifle marksmanship program that teaches fundamentals of shooting as well as educate the public about firearms and the role they play in our history and our culture. During instruction intermissions, the program intersperses details that give historical context about the American Revolution. Many of the details of these now famous events shaped the early American experience and ultimately became manifest in things like the Second Amendment.

Other topics in the interview include the many hues of Appleseed instructors, including Tim’s humourous take on the Applecore; the different types of Appleseed events; recommended equipment; and how to get more information.
