PEORIA, Ariz., –-(Ammoland.com)- Apex Tactical Specialties has donated another $25,000 to Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) bringing the company’s total donation from sales of its Thin Blue Line Series triggers to $125,000.
“We’re very pleased to announce that through the sale of our Thin Blue Line Series of triggers, Apex has now raised and donated $125,000 to C.O.P.S. Concerns of Police Survivors’ mission is a critical one for the law enforcement community and we’re extremely proud to support C.O.P.S. as Apex’s charity of choice,” said Scott Folk, COO of Apex.
Apex’s Thin Blue Line Series was launched on October 31 in 2016 to support the not-for-profit Concerns of Police Survivors whose mission it is to rebuild the shattered lives of the survivors who have lost a loved one in the line of duty. The Thin Blue Line Series from Apex currently features 16 trigger kits designed for a variety of popular pistols. Apex donates 25% to C.O.P.S. from each Thin Blue Line Series product sold.

C.O.P.S. offers programs for survivors, including the National Police Survivors’ Conference, which is held each May during National Police Week. C.O.P.S. also offers scholarships and peer-support at the national, state, and local levels; the “C.O.P.S. Kids” counseling reimbursement program; and the “C.O.P.S. Kids” Summer Camp. “C.O.P.S. Teens” offers an Outward Bound experience for young adults. C.O.P.S. also sponsors special retreats for spouses, parents, siblings, adult children, extended family, fiancés/significant others and co-workers. Trial and parole support, as well as other assistance programs, are also available.
