Smith & Wesson’s M2.0 is getting new trigger options courtesy of Apex Tactical Specialities, who recently expanded the Action Enhancement lineup to include parts for the new gun.

The Action Enhancement Trigger and Duty/Carry Kit already offers a slew of drop-in parts for some of the most popular pistols on the planet and the M2.0 joins that list with polymer and aluminum trigger body options.

The kit replaces the factory hinged trigger, giving shooters a more ergonomic and responsive Apex trigger. The new trigger features a center-mounted pivoting safety and short reset with pull weight reduced to the 5- to 5.5-pound range. Delivering a smoother trigger pull, the kit also boasts an overall reduction in trigger travel by 30 percent.

The Action Enhancement Trigger and Duty/Carry Kit works with both the 9mm and .40S&W caliber versions of the M2.0. In addition, the kit is also compatible with the original M&P 45 model.

Shooters can expect to see an aluminum or polymer Action Enhancement Trigger, heavy duty 1/8-inch sear spring, full machined sear, Duty Carry Trigger return spring and slave pin in the box. Also included in the setup is the Ultimate Striker Block Kit which comes with the striker block, spring and Talon Tactical tool.

The polymer version of the Apex Action Enhancement Trigger Duty/Carry Kit for the M2.0 retails for $119.95 while the aluminum version is priced at $154.95. Both are currently available from Apex.
