Apex Tactical Specialties launches the new Apex Action Enhancement Trigger and Apex Duty/Carry Kit for Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 45 owners looking to upgrade their current trigger systems.

The aluminum Action Enhancement trigger is a direct drop-in replacement for the factory hinged trigger. The new trigger reduces pre-travel and over-travel by approximately 20 percent while the trigger body utilizes a center-mounted pivoting safety. The trigger sells for $76.95

The Duty/Carry Kit provides a smooth uptake and reset with a trigger pull of 5 to 5.5 pounds. The kit comes with Apex fully machined sear, sear spring, trigger return spring and striker block spring and retails for $79.95.

Though the Action Enhancement trigger and Duty/Carry kit can be installed independently of each other, Apex offers an all-in-one package containing both. The Apex Action Enhancement Trigger & Duty/Carry Kit combines both the Action Enhancement trigger and all the benefits from the Duty/Carry kit. The full package retails for $139.95.

The trigger and kits for the Shield 45 are available through Apex Tactical’s website and are shipping now.
