Anti-Second Amendment Wheel of Misfortune

Indiana –-(Ammoland.com)- It’s sad to witness the grandstanding that occurs every time there is another horrific crime committed such as this last episode.

The news media, all of them, jumped the start line to tell the world the shooter used an AR 15 and how many perpetrators there were.

Then we learned that none of that was true.

What is true is that all those seeking to eliminate the Second Amendment are fiercely dedicated to do all they can to capitalize on the moment. After the facts have come out that it was just one person committing this awful crime and that person legally purchased a shotgun the anti gun crowd is grinding their teeth and can’t help themselves from wanting to target even the shotguns as “evil.”

Our local paper did an “idiottorial” referring to this type of gun as a “heavy caliber semi auto weapon”. It will never stop. The wheel keeps going around. As we all know shotguns are measured in guage, not caliber.

Another aspect of all this is the “cause and effect” that takes place. It is peculiar how many people will race out to buy a firearm as though at sundown there will be no more gun sales allowed or fly out of the house to get there handgun license and once they obtain those items, it’s the last we’ll ever hear from them. They will make no effort to help the rest of us in defending gun rights in this country.

I want to mention again that our next 2nd Amendment Patriot meeting will be Saturday, September 28th 2013 and I’m guessing it will be crowded. We will have Congressman Buschon, who has asked to attend, to speak and take questions.

For this reason, we will not have a meal as usual, but instead we ask that you bring snacks, such as chips, cookies, soda pops and we will have coffee.

We will also arrange a format so that everyone will have a chance to ask a question or make a comment. We’ll explain that at the meeting.
