Angstadt Arms introduces integrally suppressed UDP-9 (VIDEO)

Angstadt Arms introduced the UDP-9 fitted with an integrally suppressed upper at the NRA Annual Meeting in Louisville, Kentucky.

The suppressed upper is made by Keystone Armory and features a 6-inch barrel that is ported at 3 inches. ‘It’s going to keep all 115 grain ammo subsonic.’ says Rich Angstadt, owner of Angstadt Arms. ‘So you can shoot really really cheap ammo and it’s going to be really quiet for you.’

147 grain and 168 grain ammo should be quiet too. As usual, it will be compatible with all aftermarket AR-15 accessories and Glock magazines. It will be available in a few months through Angstadt Arms as well as Keystone Armory and several other dealers. No price yet, but Guns.com will keep you posted.

Angstadt Arms is a small arms manufacturer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. They’ve been in the industry for two years making a product called the UDP-9. It’s a 9mm Glock-fed AR-15. According to Angstadt, they got into the industry because they saw a need for smaller AR-15 style rifles that are compatible with people’s sidearms. ‘We went with Glock,’ says Angstadt, ‘because it’s the most popular handgun in the world.’

It’s the first time Angstadt Arms has exhibited at NRAAM and according to Rich, it was a success. ‘We’ve sold quit a few guns [and there’s been] a lot of interest.’
