Alien Gear Holsters is back with its 10th addition to the ShapeShift Modular Holster System, unveiling the new modular shoulder holster featuring hybrid materials.
The ShapeShift Shoulder Holster comes in the carrier’s choice of brown or black with an “edge-bound premium English Bridle Leather.” The leather is paired with a CoolVent Neoprene which offers multiple configurations for the ShapeShift molded handgun shell and Single or Double Cloak Mag Carriers to sit.
The shoulder holster allows users to anchor it to the belt-line and center it between the shoulder blades for a secure, comfortable carry. The straps are adjustable conforming to a variety of body shapes and sizes. The holster can be used with one handgun and two mag carriers or, alternatively, two handguns or four mag carriers.
“Our shoulder holster offers an innovative approach to what’s typically seen. The classic leather look is kept, but was improved by adding modern materials for a more functional, more comfortable, more secure and more modular shoulder holster than ever before,” Alien Gear Holsters’ mechanical engineer Igor Shirobokov said in a news release. “Mixing the leather shoulder holster style with modern materials offers the best of both worlds for the user.”
The shell can be mounted to cant the muzzle directly downward and it boasts a various methods of retention — thumb release, thumb strap and adjustable passive retention.
The ShapeShift Shoulder Holster is available from Alien Gear with a MSRP of $133, while the Shoulder Carry Expansion Pack by itself retails for $99.
