Mary Hossmer retired from the Allegheny National Forest in public affairs. She also worked as a Forester. Her career included working for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and the Army Corps of Engineers.

Mary provides us with an understanding of what successional habitat is, and why this habitat type is so important to wildlife, and sportsmen.
