Whispers around Hollywood indicate Quentin Tarantino’s next project will be a movie about the Manson murders.
Little is known about the work-in-progress other than the fact that it’s written – and will be directed – by Tarantino and will focus on the infamous and brutal 1969 murders carried out by members of the Manson Family. The slayings left five people dead, including actress Sharon Tate, who was eight months pregnant at the time, and coffee heiress Abigail Folger.
Tarantino is said to be currently putting the finishing touches on the script, and rumor has it, that A-listers by the likes of Brad Pitt, who starred in Tarantino’s 2009 film Inglourious Basterds, and Jennifer Lawrence have been approached for parts in the Manson movie, which may start production as early as next year.
