911 call could clear attorney in shooting of her husband (VIDEO)

A Taxas grand jury is deciding whether there’s enough evidence to send an attorney accused of shooting her estranged husband to trial, but recently released 911 audio could prove she fired in self defense, local media reported.

Kimberly Frost-Salazar, 41, was arrested on Feb. 20 for aggravated assault after shooting her husband — 38-year-old Anthony Garza Salazar — once in the abdomen, sending him to the hospital.

Frost-Salazar told Action 10 News that her husband showed up, hit a truck parked out front and then came into the house.

A judge in the couples divorce case granted Frost-Salazar a restraining order against her husband, KRIS reported.

Frost-Salazar, a Corpus Christi, Texas, family attorney, had reportedly attempted to file a restraining order against her husband for some time.

The two reportedly separated in June 2014 and began divorce proceedings in September 2014. Salazar is still in the hospital and its unknown if he will be charged when released, KRIS reported.
